Andre Lewis

Andre Lewis is a Montgomery, AL native with a Bachelor of Arts in Mechanical Engineering from Tuskegee University. Before co-founding VPG with CEO Mike Merideth, Andre spent four years working as a Drill Site Manager for Chevron, where he was responsible for managing more than $10M in oil wells. While at Chevron, Andre ventured into Real-Estate Development, property management, and construction. While serving as the COO, Andre has designed and implemented business strategies that have helped VPG Enterprise’s annual revenue grow from $18,000 to $18M in 10 years. Currently, VPG Enterprise has 30 full-time employees, in which Andre’s key priority is keeping everyone aligned with achieving the company’s vision.
Under his operational leadership, VPG Construction has been recognized by INC 500 as the 250th fastest-growing company in America, one of 5000 companies in the United States with Federal 8(a) status, and one of the top DBE contractors in New Orleans.
Andre is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc., and a board member of the New Orleans Black Chamber of Commerce.
