We offer full services of General Contracting of Real estate development, or property development, that encompassing activities that range from the renovation and re-lease of existing buildings to the purchase of raw land and the sale of developed land or parcels to others. We can coordinate all of these activities, converting ideas from paper to real property.

As a company, VPG Construction specializes in general contracting services but in its roots it was founded in real estate development. The principal owners of the company have completed over $15,000,000 in real estate development investments within the last five years with over $15,000,000 in the pipeline for 2016. This positions our company uniquely to partner with our development clients on both real estate construction and investment.

Vincent Weaver

CEO, President

Vincent Weaver is the contributing shareholder of VPG Construction Company and was named President and CEO in 2015. Under his leadership the commercial construction firm will be looking to established itself as one of the leading companies of its kind in the Greater New Orleans region. VPG Construction is projected to grow its construction capacity by 15-25% per year and doubled their sales in 2017. Weaver’s success and attention is focused on building a strong executive team, developing a solid strategic partnership and paying close attention to the customer overall experience with community knowledge.

Weaver develops and maintains effective relationships with all project stakeholders including owners, architects, subcontractors and city-wide leaders. He has a knowledge and experience in various construction sectors including city-wide healthcare, aviation, federal, institutional, retail, residential, sole source commerical and higher education.

Vincent Weaver demostrates knowledge of project timeline, project management, owner awareness and cost control. He is an developing expert in higher educational, residential and commerical construction and facilities operations and leading major construction organizations with a thorough knowledge of estimating, purchasing, accounting, cost engineering, self-performance trade work and field supervision.

Weaver is an exceptional leader and project manager in all, but not including the public, institutional and private sector. He has been personally responsible for delivery of projects ranging from $500,000 to 75 million. Weaver is also VPG Executive lead for teaming projects with past experience leading projects totaling upwards of $89,000,000.

Vincent Weaver has more than 7 years of Facilities management, , including Architectural and Project Management scheduling and design. He has served as a Facilities Leader of a variety of Higher Educational diverse institutions including Historical Black Colleges and Universities. Weaver believes in empowering individuals to perform at their best. He has a personal passion for supporting the growth and development of women and minorities in business.

He is an active community leader and most recently served as an ambassador for mentoring minority students in engineering in the District of Columbia. He is an active member of the ASHE (American Society of Healthcare Engineers) Certification. Has recently been nominated for the Georgia Trust Award as the Project Manager for a Historic Preservation renovation in Fort Valley, Georgia.

Vincent Weaver attended Tuskegee University with a degree in Architecture. He has a master’s in Architecture from Hampton University and completed a study abroad in Urban Design in Panama City, Panama.

Michael Merideth received his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Tuskegee University graduating with honors and the highest GPA in his class. In 2010, along with Andre Lewis, Michael co-founded the real estate development company Verius Property Group based out of New Orleans, LA where his primary role has been strategic planning, asset management, and investor relations. Since the company’s inception, Michael has help expand the company to over $5,300,000 in current assets, secured $3,620,000 in private capital, and propelled the company to one of the top Special Needs Housing providers in the state of Louisiana.

As Chief Executive Officer of VPG Enterprises, Michael has made tremendous strides in expanding VPG’s commercial platform as well. Within the last two years the company has completed over $4,420,000 in commercial development that in includes luxury condos in Manhattan (NY) and New Orleans (LA), as well as large multi-family rehabs in the Greater New Orleans Region. These achievements have gained recognition from several publications as Michael was recognized as a “Top Forty under 40” business professional by The Gambit and the recipient of The Millennial Award for Real Estate given out by the Social Renaissance.

Andre Lewis graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tuskegee University. In 2010, Andre co-founded the real estate development company Verius Property Group where his primary role has been acquisitions, project management, and financial planning. During his tenure as COO, Andre played an integral part in the expansion of the company into VPG Enterprise offering real estate development and now construction/property management services.

Andre is currently the lead on over $2,000,000 in purchase/rehab projects currently underway for VPG Enterprise and will be in charge of operations for the $15,000,000 in projects in the cue for the company in 2016 and is currently working on a strategic plan to expand the real estate portfolio to 500 housing units.

Andre has won numerous awards and accolades from his business success, most recently the Social Renaissance award for being the top real estate professional in the Greater New Orleans Region and The Gambit “Top Forty under 40” .
