Director of Operations
Donald, a native of New Orleans, LA, brings over 13 years of experience in construction and project management to the VPG team. Donald holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Louisiana Tech University and a Construction Finance Management certification from Columbia University. Donald spent four years as a Construction Manager, completing projects for the New Orleans Convention Center, the Louis Armstrong International (MSY) Airport, Essence Fest, Louisiana's Children's Museum, Terrebonne Hospital, and more.
Donald brings a unique background to the VPG team, having previously played professional football in Italy. While in Italy, Donald was honored as the 2006 European Football League Import Player of the Year in Helsinki, Finland, and the Italy Superbowl Champion and Offensive MVP in Bergamo, Italy. While in the U.S., Donald was honored as the NCAA National Leadership Representative and the Nokia Sugar Bowl Athlete of the Year. Beyond athletics, Donald dedicated over eight years to mentoring and teaching at-risk and adjudicated youth, earning recognition as the Vocational Teacher of the Year during his tenure.
When asked what he enjoys most about VPG, Donald emphasizes the opportunity to build something great, whether with the VPG Team or on a large project. He loves teamwork because it shows that when we truly respect one another and align on the same mission and vision, we cannot be stopped!
